Application UNISILKON L 50/2 is used in a wide service temperature range and for low loads (equivalent bearing load C/P >30). It is also suitable for plain bearings with metal/metal contact and as an assembly aid for rubber components. Due to its good resistance to aggressive media and the wide service temperature range UNISILKON L 50/2 is used in many industries such as the woodworking, textile and paper industry. UNISILKON L 50/2 is resistant to cold and hot water, hot water steam up to approx. 130°C. It is not resistant to most organic solvents, strong acids and alkaline solutions. Application notes UNISILKON L 50/2 can be applied by spatula, brush or grease gun. We recommend checking compatibility with the material in contact, especially prior to series application. To ensure good adhesion of the lubricant the friction points should be cleaned with white spirit 180/210 before applying the lubricant. Please also refer to our safety data sheet.
